Originally from Leeds, I am a UK-based writer and director.
I’ve worked extensively as a director in the West End, on UK No 1 Tours, on Broadway and in Canada, on large scale musicals as well as plays. I spent a year as Staff Director at The Royal National Theatre, as well as tenures at The Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh and The Tricycle (now Kiln).
A combination of the pandemic and motherhood led me to switch my focus to writing. My most recent work is a Radio 4 dramatisation of Daphne du Maurier's The Blue Lenses, broadcast in spring 2024, preceded by an original play called Samaritan Number One, broadcast in November 2023 on Radio 4. You can listen to it here.
